Yan ang nakakalungkot talaga Mam.Manufacturer and exporter pala kayo Mam.Medyo mahirap nga ngayon ang business pero meron ako na company na design ko product nila taga Cebu mam parang hindi sya natitinag at high end pa mga items nya.Kaya nakita ko or ewan ko kung tsamba yun pero nag invest sya sa mga items nya kasi ang mahal ng mga materyales nya.Dati lang syang inlayer at taga grind ng fiberglass, marbles, at sai-saring materyales ang pinipino nya.Na impress nga ako sa kanya kaya kaming mga ordinaryo na mga tao may pag-asa pa.Ang pangongopya Mam marami talaga sa business na gusto nila madali kumita agad basta masulot ang presyo ng iba sa mababang uri ng materyales kumpara sa original structure na pinaghirapan ng ibang kumpanya at ng artist nito.Marami akong kilalang ganyan halimbawa manager ng isang kumpanya dahil ang boss nya foreigner at minsan lang dito sa Pilipinas akala nya gusto ko work nya eh ako Mam hindi ako nagpapatali talaga sa kumpanya at puro kopya furnitures and accessories nila at kalat dito sa buong Pilipinas kinokopyahan nya matanggal lang serbisyo ko sa kumpanya nila.Minsan naman hindi sinasadyang kopyahin kasi Mam sa ngayon sa past designers minsan hindi sinasadyang kapareho ang design/s.Kay Kenneth Cobonpue nga Mam may nag comment din sa kanya sa site nya na kamukha ng design din ng international designer wayback pa.Goodluck Mam sa business nyo.Ganda ng house nyo magaling yung designer.

yes i know. i'm a furniture manufacturer and exporter and i know those things. the other person who commented on that specific photo asked you kasi "how much naman kaya tong design mo?" that's why i had to ask. original designers of products that become a "hit" should have some sort of recognition. pero shempre in the design/ furniture industry in this country pa, hindi uso yun. sad nga eh.

No Mam.I'm not the original designer po nun.Sa mga design ng ganung klase marami ng gumawa ng foot stool na yun kahit sabihin ko pa ako ang creator ng simpleng wicker weaving marami ng gumawa nyan kasi napaka plain lang nyan Mam at malamang kalat yan sa market sa price na lang nagkakatalo yan at quality.Pero designer ako Mam from PSID.Yung iba dyan collaborations sa mga owner ng house at ang iba collaboration sa exporters sa Manila at Cebu.

Thanks for adding me onto your list. I, too, am a big JRR Tolkien fan. A bibliophilist myself, I have quite a number of books by and about Tolkien. I just got the recently released 'The Children of Hurin,' which was of course by Tolkien but was edited by his son Christopher.
